If you still want to create a transkit for the Fujimi McLaren F1, I'll buy it!

This car is a true classic, it deserves a proper representation in kit form. Resin or plastic, whatever, I will buy it undoubtedly !

Re: Bmw e9

I have been wrote that I have bought a 3D printer in this post. Today new parts for this project were printed. There is just one issue on the roof by my mistake. The new roof will be printed later.
The 3D model.

... and the printed parts. Not washed yet.

Re: Bmw e9

Looking good. I don't see any printing lines (a good thing).

One of my all time favorite street cars.
Great work Mikhail! Looking forward to ordering a kit of this beauty from you.

PS: Congratulations on buying a 3D printer. I hope I'll have one soon myself. certainly a very nice tool for scale model creators.

Re: Bmw e9

2 BVC500, jano11: Thank you guys!

There were some mistakes during printing, so, I haven't satisfied. I will print the body parts again before the end of the week. I want to show you the problems of the printed parts, and a comparison with my previous body.

Re: Bmw e9

I see what you meant by issues with the printed parts.
Your modified CSL body is just as good. Very impressive.

Re: Bmw e9

Thank you Ioan!

While the printer is under repair, I tried to assemble a body from those parts that turned out to be tolerable. The frames of the side windows were broken when the roof was separated from the supports. Also three roof pillars have been broken in four places, even several times. Nevertheless, the body is assembled. Perhaps, after repairing the printer, I'll print one more body, more qualitative. Then I'll make a racing version from this one. Will see.

Re: Bmw e9

Why you do this easier and just print a single piece body?

Re: Bmw e9

Working area is too small I guess.

Re: Bmw e9

This was an experiment to find the best solution between printing time and surface quality. The working area is enough to print a single piece, but the printing time will take about 30 hours. Probably, I will print a single piece body, when my printer will be repaired.

Re: Bmw e9

The third Fomrlabs Form2 works fine. Finally, I have printed the body in one piece.
