Out with the old...In with the new.

I have a 03 Ford Escape and I want to remove the stock stereo head and replace with just a MP3 player. I don't want to hook the MP3 player to the head. What I want to know is how to just have the MP3 player instead. How can I do this?

I plan to have a holder ( http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Zune.../dp/B00198ATEE) and I also want to hook up a charger. I would like everything to be nice and clean, with the charge hardwired as well if possible.

If more info. is need please ask, and Thank you So much for any help.

you will have a big hole unless you fabricate something to fill it. Thev MP3 player will also not likely have enough power to run the cars speakers, so you will need a little amp too.

Re: Out with the old...In with the new.

Well I decided to just go with a FM Modulator, get the power from the ignition power in Stereo until I decide to get a sub and amp for the car. That way I can just get a Car-side harness and run like a cat 5 and other wires back to the amp. This way I don't have to run wires twice. O and for the hole thing. I will probably just get some plastic card or cut out a matching shape from a carbon fiber sheet. When I put the Modulator in I will do a how to unless its been done. Thanks anyways pepz!
