Talking My Exotic Automotive Artowrok

Hi all,

Im new to the forum, looks like a cool place! I have noticed all the excellent artwork, and photo mods on here, some of you guys are really good. I thought maybe I'd throw my two cents in as well. Below is some of my stuff, two Ferrari's, two of my faves! Check it out tell me what you think. Both the Enzo and Rossa Corsa (red) F40 are framed and hanging in my house!

They are created using a combo of Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Illustrator 10, and my own drawing skill using a PC TABLET.

C+C welcome, infact encouraged...

Thanks

Rob

Re: My Exotic Automotive Artowrok

You forgot to edit the engine in the F40 pics. It would look much better if you made the engine look like the rest of the car, instead of leaving it like it was in the original picture.

That was my first attempt. I wasn't sure I could pull off recreating that part when I drew it so I just edited the original photo part in there instead. My newer works are all done by hand using the PC Tablet and the original pic for reference. Im working on a 2004 Lamborghini Murcielago right now. Its coming along nicely!

Thanks for your comments.

Thanks alot man! I use Adobe Photoshop CS2, and Adobe Illustrator 10. I also use PC Tablet to draw the cars first, then i paint them in Photoshop... I have been doing this for about 5 years, but only recently considered selling my work on my website, I also do hand drawing in pencil, and when I have some of those done that I am working on, I'll post those hear for you guys to view as well. I'm currently working on a Lamborghini Murcielago in the computer art, and a Ferrari Enzo in pencil.

Anyway Thank you so much for your comments.

Re: My Exotic Automotive Artowrok

Hey Man
Great work. like how you "interpreted" the chrome rims, nice combo of Ill vector lines and freehand PS colors.....less is more.

One thing though..whit such strong reflections on the body work, and the dark surrounding you've used for your backdrop.....
I nice dark reflection on the side window would make it blend even more with the total car

Keep it up,
P.S i wouldn't bother to much about sample watermarks. @ 72dpi its no threat to the high res images you're planning to sell.
And it makes looking at your work on the web a lot nicer
