The subframe wont progress much further until I get the wheels, and figure out the suspension. I want to make sure everything clears the ground. I was looking at my T-56 last night, and got to thinking that It wasn't quite right. I need to spend some time looking for some new pictures and with new measurements to double check and make sure that it is correct before I spend anymore time on it.

Color. I am thinking two tone with sunset orange pearl (think late model F-body) and black.
Well if you perfect the block and such and it looks detailed enough then I think you should make some molds of it to sell. But with that you have to spend even more time making a cast of it before you can get any further on your personal project, it is really up to you. And the two tone color combo sounds nice.

Russel, whitsonracing really pointed out something to think about if you plan to cast and sell these. You really need to be spot on, and have a perfect master. Keep in mind when you produce your work for others, its going to be very public, and you're open from all ends for criticism.

Re: Pro Touring Camaro of a different ......size?

thanks Mike! With the amount of time I've put in this far, I will make the final decision when the block is done. I don't want to start over at this point. The more 1 off this is the more unique it will be.

Re: Pro Touring Camaro of a different ......size?

how about some paint?? I decided to play around with paint tonight. I re-primed my body and rear bumper with Cobra Colors Moon Mud primer. This helped fill any nicks and scratches. I followed with a coat of black. The only part that I got the final color on is the rear bumper. The color is Sunset Orange Pearl (GM Factory Color) Mixed with PPG acrylic Enamel. Let me know what you think!?!

Re: Pro Touring Camaro of a different ......size?

alright guys. The first round of clear coat is on. There is some trash that got in it.....one of the pit falls of spraying outside. I'll have to sand it out and hit it with my microfinish. I'll clear one or two more times. The shine is pretty good right now. I feel it could be better though. Enjoy:

MONEY SHOT!

Re: Pro Touring Camaro of a different ......size?

A little more to show on this beast. The LS7 is beginning to take shape. I beleive that the line along the passenger side of the block should NOT be there, but it is too late at this point. I might also end up re-building the oil pan. As the area for the oil filter is wrong. Or I might creat a remote mount set up and mount it on the firewall or maybe lower side of the frame. Let me know what you guys think.
