Here are the results of reshaping the wheel arches on the gravel car. I sanded down the outer lip as far as I could without sanding through it. Reshaped the bottom of the arches to follow the curve of the body line and shortened the front valance. Not a dramatic change but worthwhile none the less. The gravel cars is always on the left in the photos.

Scale Production's Campagnolo wheels look nice but unfortunately they are 5-bolt.

I've started detailing the kit wheels.

Hi JC, nice progress on the wheelarches! I really like the Campagnolo and I think it is relatively easy to change the center to 4 bolt.

These wheels look great, although I have the same problem as you do, I already bought the Scaleproductions ones. I think I'll convert those to 4 bolts since they look great and I don't want to waste them. I've already made the suitable slick tyres for those Campagnolos

There was huge void above the rear trans-axle extending all the way up to the package shelf. Made a filler panel to close it up.

My friend corrrado who's eye and opinion I trust suggested I narrow the outer bead of the wheel rim. I had narrowed the bead some previously but took the leap and narrowed them further after studying more photographs. Glad I did! The wheel on the left is the newly modified wheel, the one on the right is where I was before. Narrowing the bead also has the effect of making the tire sidewall appear taller without increasing the overall diameter - win win.

Fabricated a mount for the swing arm control bracket. Added bolt detail to the control arms.

Seen the inquiry about the grills V Modeller and came searching for a WIP thread here on Automotive forum.
I often wonder about the cam covers on the Esci/italeri 131.
They appear to be a bit wide.... But that's just what I see.

Thanks Boreham and I agree the valve cover do appear a little wide but I see no way to correct them without remaking them entirely.
