more problems
i posted a day or two ago about a code 4 and 8, i adjusted the timeing and re adjusted the dizzy and codes went bye bye... today driven around, my check light came on while on the highway and it was a code 1 4 and 8, god why does the timeing keep commen off??? the tentioner is tight, the belt is relitivly new, the bolt on the end of the cam is tight, and the one for the bottum half is tight, what could cause the timeing to keep commen off like that, it makes the car run like shit in the low end of first gear then its fine all the way through the top of fith, but i lost to a probe because of the problem. the code one (oxygen content) is just the o2 sencor or is it caused by something else? thanks again for all the help guys

Re: more problems
I don't know why you're timing keeps getting fucked up but the code 1 doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad sensor, could be a wiring issue. It seemed like every freakin' time I got on it in my car the blink pause blink would come back all the time and just piss me off. Finally, I redid the wires and it came back again. So yesterday I pulled back the stock wire harness clip under the dizzy and totally redid the O2 wire nice and clean and tucked it up high out of the way from hot hoses and everything else, went out for a cruise, got on it and it ran awesome!, came home, and no more damn blinky.... what a relief!
