Anyone know what happened to the engine? At all? Curses! The suspense is killing me!

i was watching the race on the Speed Channel, rooting for Caddy of course.....i was looking for the GTR though, i heard about it awhile back and was really excited to see how it would do, there was NO COVERAGE AT ALL of the GTR after they did a short 4 sec clip from the on-board cam.

they didnt even interview the team, hopefully that'll change for the 2nd race.

Yeah, I saw that too... you also saw the GTR in the warm up lap when they were going through the line up of drivers on the grid. That was the only TV time the car got.

I was highly upset.

Igor DID finish round one, I don't know what you guys are talkin about. He placed 22nd.

My dad keeps talkin smack about the Skyline not being a competitor to the Vettes, Vipers, GT3s up front. I really wish Igor would do much better.

Yeah I did.. It just confused me since nothing but him finishing 22nd was reported when I was watching the race itself. Even though there wasn't much coverage of the rest of the race other then the leaders, they normally show a quick shot of somebody whos retiring no matter who it is. At the end, I saw Sushko #69 on the board as 22nd. Doesn't matter, if the site says it happened, Im not going to argue.

Re: Nissan Skyline GT-R to Make North American Road Racing Series Debut in SPEED GT

good racing though. i too wish there was more coverage, or at least shots, of Igor during the race. oh well, next time. it was looking good when the others were getting knocked off and Igor was still in it!

Bad luck, man, last lap even! Can't wait for the next one! congrats on your first GT Race anyway!
