The only 2 things I can think of are either a problem in the front differential, or worn spider gears in the cv joint. Is the problem more common going around corners, or does this happen in a straight line too?

Questions: How many miles on your Jeep?

During the video, could you feel a jerkiness or resistance when turning the wheel and making the noise?

Can you turn the tire when 4wd is engaged? If so agree with a stripped gear.

Is the noise coming from the hub/wheel area or the differential area?

It definitely sounds like from your description that it lasts longer definitely indicates a failing part. It could even be a bearing; next time you drive somewhere, compare the temperatures of the front wheels. If the side making the noise is hotter, then that would point me toward the bearing.

just straight, doesn't do it going backwards, i can put it in 4wd and no problems. and it seems only to happen when its wet outside. im going to put new wheel hubs on ( i have 350k on my rig) so while im doing that i might just replace the u joints as well
