New Honda Buyer

Hello, I know this is priobably an easy question, but I just bought a 1990 Honda Accord with 60,000 miles on it. I was told by someone that I should have the water pump and timing belts replaced after so many miles. Should I do that now? Should I wait until about 70,000?

Thanks for any help
Mike

I'd do it now to be on the safe side.
You don't want to wait for the problem to happen before you fix it.
