Brakes

Wife said brakes were making noise on our 07. After 65K miles couldn't put off brakes any longer. Found Rear pad pass. side worn to plate. Rear rotors weren't too difficult to remove, front rotors were another matter.
Had to chip rust from inside recess of rotor so it would pass over O.D. of hub. Only access was available after caliper bracket is removed. Then had to install bolts into steering knuckle bosses for caliper bracket mounts and push rotor off hub by turning in bolt with a nut on other side of boss.
For those in northern climates a diy brake job can take most of the day on a fusion, at least for me.
