Re: Thunderbird v Mustang
I'd say Bird, just a guess.
Wasn't there a S/C V8 Bird that year?

Re: Thunderbird v Mustang
Was there ever a SC V8 bird from 80 on up? I am sure that 96 was a V8 or SC V6. The V8 in the bird was not that powerful in 96..... I know it was not as powerful as the Mustang in 96 and the mustang only had 215 HP in 96.

Re: Thunderbird v Mustang
gotta go with the Bird.
Mustangs are nice, but a V6 is just not a parallel to the V8, even with a chip. (in those two cars, at least.) also, the Chiefs are my team too, I'm from Blue Springs. so i thought i would share. |

Re: Thunderbird v Mustang
I think the mustang would pull it off, even though it's not a v8, superchips do wonders to some cars, and I imagine that it would also be lighter than the T-Bird if I'm not mistaken.

Re: Thunderbird v Mustang
the mustang would most definately beat the bird check out these 1/4 mile specs
http://www.dragtimes.com/results.php...arch+DragTimes and then compare them to the mustangs here http://www.dragtimes.com/results.php...arch+DragTimes remember in this comparison the mustangs listed do not have the superchip |
