2000 Mitsubishi Lancer Power Steering Rack

I own a 2000 Lancer, and I am having problems with my power steering steering rack. I am looking for replacements online, and the only thing I can find for the same year is a Mirage power steering rack. Do you guys know if there would be any compatibility issues if I just use a 2000 Mirage steering rack? Most forums I've been on assure me that me that they're essentially the same cars, I was hoping someone here would have a good understanding of the differences between the two.
