Here is what the damage looked like after Mateo spent 15 minutes pulling it out with a pair of needle-nose pliers

Yeah, Schlud and I both have bumpers and Synchro has a foglight, so don't go spending a bunch of money. Email Schlud or myself if interested in a bumper.

Hey Toejam,
I fogot to mention on the last trip that should remove your hard mud-flaps before they get torn off with the fender flare on your next offroading trip. A couple of guys in PNWX have rigged up quick releases for them. Maybe they'll post a picture. |

Mud Flaps
I thought about that before the trip out, but decided I didn't have the energy to F*ck with Nissan's piss-poor design.
They'll be off before the next trip.... |

Speaking of which, how do you get at those bolts on the rear flaps? I was going to take them off Saturday morning while waiting for the other 2 PDX people to show up, but I couldn't figure out how to get at those bolts.

Mud Flaps
Spike....just use brute force. I used vice grips on the bolts so I didn't have to hold anything while I leaned into a screw driver... sucks big time. Take a beer for a temper relaxant!

Gee, this sounds like it'll be fun. I think I'll pick up so clevis pins to use at quick disconnects when I'm at the hardware store.
And underage drinking is bad! Well, only if you get caught. Spike = 19 years old. |
