2004 Kia Rio TPS/Clearing codes
I have a 2004 Kia Rio 1.6L Automatic. The problem i have is that the car will start and quickly shut down. I read the codes with my can obd 2 code reader and it stated that it is the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). So, i replaced it and cleared the code and the car does the same thing and brings the same code up. I am by no means a novice when it comes to car repair. The car has other issues, but, nothing related to what is going on. Is there a certain way of installing the TPS on this car? There is no adjustments on the TPS like there is on other vehicles. It should be just a part off part on situation. Any advice, suggestions or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
