Do we get a confirmation for voting? I have no Idea if my votes went through.

You will not get any confirmations. Your votes came through, unless you got a note of undeliverable PM.

Re: AFMOTY 2008 Entries

There will be too many people voting for everyone to get an individual confirmation.

If you want to know if your voting PM went through, go to your Private Messages, and then under Jump to Folder: select Sent Items.

If one of your sent PM titles looks like this-

MOTY votes: (your username)
360spider , willimo

-then your votes went through.

I've managed to get my list down to 6 models but choosing only 3 of them will be Mission Impossible.

How long 'till the voting closes?

Re: AFMOTY 2008 Entries

Seeing all these amazing entries it amazes me that we have a discussion about not having enough entries almost every year.
With this quality of builds there shouldnīt be all this fuzz of having or not having this contest in the beginning/end of each year. S
o everybody - start to suit up for MOTY 2009 because it would be shame not having the display of the finest work from AF. And maybe we can just announce the contest and start it without "Reminder-Threads" and Threads threating not to have the contest due to a lack of participation!

Cheers

Robert

P.S.: Great entry list - once again. Itīs a pleasure to see all this amazing work.

Re: AFMOTY 2008 Entries

I totally agree with Robert. The way the AFMOTY develops, with the new voting system, prizes etc. I think we mustn't worry about there being not enough entries for AFMOTY 2009.

Well... I'll take some time now to screen the awesome models that are on display here. And damned... it's going to tough to find a winner!

Good luck to everybody!!!

Re: AFMOTY 2008 Entries

Damn was that a hard one!!!!!!

I mean their are some incredible builds!!!!! There was a lot of scratching and re-writing and crumpled up pieces of paper hitting the trash, cigarette smokin' and head scratchin for this years vote

I not only had my personal favorites based on type of car, color, what I wish I could drive and the whole HOLY SHIT THAT'S COOL FACTOR, but then I had to think about how incredibly hard some of you worked your asses off getting decals straight, superior paint jobs, engine work and overall amount of time and skill involved in your builds.

so I chose to vote on several different factors:

The most Realistic/believable build

You guys that can DO IT ALL skillfully....engine work, decals, paint

Then my personal favorite and man, that was not easy!!!!

What an awesome turn-out, great eye-candy and thanks for the inspiration to get better and know that great things are possible in this hobby!

Re: AFMOTY 2008 Entries

It's easy to pick my number one -

AFMOTY is my number one reason for loving this place.

Thanks for participating, everyone, and vote (if you can!). These are all some amazing builds and it's such a treat to see them all at once. Congratulations, everyone!!
