Looking at HLJ website it would appear there is an issue with Tamiya. They are currently showing only 3 kits as being in stock when you search Tamiya/ Racing Cars. Everything else is backordered or Out of Stock
I backordered 2 Tamiya Ferrari kits off them recently but after waiting 7 weeks I cancelled and purchased off Hobby Search who shipped the next day. |

I ordered the Tamiya reissue Honda RS1000 weeks ago from HLJ, they've been all over ebay for sale for weeks and there's one at my LHS....but HLJ show it as March Release and not in stock.

And while we have HLJ in the spotlight, I have been placing orders for items being shown as ' In Stock ' only to find they are ' Back Ordered ' when I log in to my account the next day.

Guys, is this not because tamiya are sick of these stores sending stuff overseas at a massive discount? Tamiya promised to crack down on it this year.
