2.slow engine swap??

I have a 95 sebring but have access to a 95 dodge avenger. My bring has a 2.5l v6 same as in the dodge avenger. The avenger is a 2.slow 5 speed. I was wondering if the 2.5 would bolt to the 5 speed tranny and if it would cause any problems??

Re: 2.slow engine swap??

ive heard of this conversion im not to sure of how it works out the 4cyl mates to the same tranny that the v6 does so i dont see why the v6 cant mount to the 5spd im thinking you'll need a different clutch and flywheel i had seen a website that sells kits for that type of swap also you would need to reconfigure the motor mounts it would most likly be cheaper to turbo the 420a but might be around same price the turbo would have more power tho. to those of you saying its not possible because its not setup like that...anything can be done all you need is time and money. lots of money....im trying to put a 350sbc in my avnger ive seen the conversion done before im just trying to see whats the least expensive way to do it so far ive got s10frame 350swap now all i gota do is figure out how to cut the body to put on the s10 frame and then drop it so it looks like a stock avenger put some silencers on the exhaust and have a rwd sleepr...lol
