Yet another help me choose project car thread
Ok so I'm starting to get more into cars now and would like a fun project car to work on with my dad. I would like the car to be somewhat fast and pretty cheap to work on and also look good if it was fixed up with a paint job and all that. Im torn between a 240sx or mustang. I'm not sure which year I could afford, but I'm assuming my $2000 limit would get me something in the low 1990s for either. i'm looking for something cheap, fun, and easy to work on. Oh another option is to work on the 1993 Honda Acoord Ex which I already own, but its got like 200,000 miles on it now. I'd like to do as much of the modifications as possible including rebuilding or swapping a new engine in. So what you guys think i should do?

Re: Yet another help me choose project car thread
mustang will be a better drag car, although alot of people also road race them. The 240SX will make a nice road-race car, although you can drag race them.

Re: Yet another help me choose project car thread
Well wouldnt you know it guys. I had given that 93 accord to my parents to use as a spare vehicle since I didn't need it no more and yesterday they call and say theyre going to trade it in to get a new truck. So there goes the idea of fixing up the accord. Oh BTW Id like to have a reliable 13 sec ride when I'm all done with it. Something I can drive both on the highway and drag. I'll prob make my decision on whats available and at what prices around here, but I'm still looking for opinions. Thx.
