04 se, tow lights plug

can anyone explain to me why the factory-wired towing lights jack doesn't produce a signal for the right turn signal? i've hooked up two trailers w/ the
same result. i bought a 12 volt circuit tester and everything works at the plug, except for the right turn signal. do i need to add my own wire from the back of the taillight to the harness? that doesn't make sense since it is a factory tow package. However, when i put a tow package on a pathfinder, i remember having to "t-tap" the right blinker. what color wire (behind the right lens) is the turn signal? any input is thanked in advance!

i also meant to ask - does the trailer light jack have it's own fuses?

First check to make sure all of the relays are installed under the hood behind the battery. The BCB harness recall was to address issues with trailers and the new harness that is installed has fuses in it. Its located just above the throotle pedal.

Re: 04 se, tow lights plug

had it to the stealer, had the recalls done, they found a splice that shouldn't have been, and fixed the trailer plug (all free of charge, since they couldn't prove they DIDN'T mess it up) now the damn thing won't start at all. the major work was a bcm harness mod, and it seems like now other things are going haywire.
