Re: building dodge viper srt-10

OK, there are two kinds of model cars-

1: Die casts. These are the ones with metal bodies that come fully assembled. Frequently sold in toy stores. It looks to me like that viper you have there is a die cast.

2: Plastic kits. These are the unassembled kits usually sold in hobby stores, but also seen sometimes in toy stores. Plastic kits is the topic of this entire forum.

Some of the techniques used in building plastic kits might be usefull in modifying die cast cars- but few if any people here do much of anything with diecasts, so this forum may not be the best place to go for advice. If you're interested in how to build plastic kits, you've come to the right place. If you're mostly interested in die casts, than AF's Die Cast Forum will be more useful for you.

Can I just ask which forum have you posted all your other posts in and where do you live as I find it hard to believe youve never built a kit and dont know the difference between a diecast and a plastic kit car.
I dont want to sound rude but im very curious
