Re: Shaved Door Handle How To???

you should only use bondo when filling tiny imperfections... when you use a lot of bondo it will most likely be too thick and not dry in the middle and therefore cause cracks and cracks in bondo is the best way to f%@$ up a nice paint job... Always try to fill in holes with weld and go from there.

Re: Shaved Door Handle How To???

you never want to leave holes in your sheet metal you need to weld them up thats what causes the bondo to fall out moisture it the main reason for bondo to fail the second main reason is bad surface prep

Re: Shaved Door Handle How To???

It all depends on the vehicle. There are numerous places to put the switch with out the vehicle type i cant be much help. you can buy a complete kit off ebay for less than $100 Im not sure of a fail safe system, but I think jcwhitney had one which mainly consisted of a wire attached the the latch.
