Talking Futrell Autowerks VW MK6 GTI Project Unfinished business

Dean Futrell and Futrell Autowerks Inc. is a Volkswagen & Audi Tuning Service & Repair Facility located in Beaverton Oregon. Their 2010 GTI receives a proper power upgrade with APR's Stage III Turbo Kit. Estimated Wheel Horsepower is 330-340 WHEEL Horsepower and 340 ft. lbs of WHEEL Torque on pump gas!

First dyno MK6 GTI with the APR Stage III Kit. Horsepower claims were exactly as advertised, torque was slightly lower but not by much. File massaging should bring us up to 330-350 WHP with an equal amount of torque. Car is running 92 Octane winter blend (basically 91 octane). Intital gains were 100 wheel horsepower and 100 ft.lbs of wheel torque. Car dynoed with 300 miles on the odometer.

Filmed 2/17/10 This six speed manual trans 2010 GTI was dyno'd totally stock w/1600 miles on the car. Results were impressive at 200 WHP and 215 foot pounds of wheel torque. We then added APR's Stage 1 Software w/Carbonio Stage 1 Cold Air Intake System and put the car back on the dyno netting us some very impressive gains of thirty wheel horsepower and fifty five foot pounds of wheel torque... all from an investment of under $1000.
