Borla Exhaust

Well...First off, I'm going to give you my story. I'm 16, and have a stock '99 v6 3.4L Alero. I've got into one accident, so the bumper cover is ripped, it didn't do any damage to the bumper/front end/fenders/etc. Anyway...

I just got a job, $10.25/hour, and my hopes are to upgrade my car. After I buy a bodykit, I'd like to get a new exhaust...and it has to sound nice. Borla makes them, and I like the sound clips on their website, but I'd really like something cheaper...

Any comments about Borla exhausts or ideas on a cheaper one that would sound nice?

Re: Borla Exhaust

Fars as I know No one makes an aftermarket exhaust.

If Borla does, its just been within the last week, I was just there looking for someone in the Alero forum.

Custom is the only way to go.

Re: Borla Exhaust

Borla makes exhaust systems for the grand am that will fit the alero with a few tweeks, according to APoC.

Re: Borla Exhaust

Borla site says they hav non that'll fit. If a Grand Am would work they'd say that.

Might try it though, but from what I was told on the phone/emails by a guy from Parts for your car(PFYC) that it would not fit.

3-4 months ago I done a custom exhaust on a 01' Alero, and its different then Grand Ams.
The hangers are diff locations, and thiers not as much room in back over the rear axle.

I'd hate to spend all the money and it not work/fit,
and most likly Non returnable.

Good Luck

Re: Borla Exhaust

Well, it does say that it'd require modifacation.

It won't be anytime soon that i could buy one anyway, and besides that, i need other things first, including a cold air intake. >_>
