1:24 BMW 2002 Turbo
Hi guys,
So I've rarely posted build threads on here and even more seldom finished projects I've started but spurred on by the recent MOTY thread I felt motivated to start and finish something. So the subject I chose was the BMW 2002 Turbo by Hasagewa with some additional Photo etched parts From the outset it looks like a pretty nice kit. The moulding is neat and tidy with good detail As can be seen in the photo below one of the chrome pieces was snapped in a few places. I tried to contact the Hasagewa importer to see if it was possible to get a replacement but they didn't think so. A bit unfortunate but I'll hopefully be able to fix it or make a new piece The decals all look really nice And lastly the photo etched parts with the colour I've chosen, Zero Paints Chamonix which is a match for the original car

Re: 1:24 BMW 2002 Turbo
I started with the body and chassis first, trial fitting the wheel arches, spoiled and bumper and lightly sanding until I was happy with the fit.
All components were keyed with scotch bright And finally two coats of Zero Paints Grey primer was applied As always any comments or constructive criticism is welcome

Re: 1:24 BMW 2002 Turbo
Excellent start. Looks like a really good kit by Hasegawa - I need to get this one and regular 2002 for my stash before they are gone.
Looking forward to this one and definitely subscribed.

Thanks Alex. This is as usual a bit of a slow burner with me but determined to get if finished by the end of the year
