2003 Envoy Rear Roof Panel Loose

At first I could hear flapping in the wind sound at the rear of the vehicle. I could not detect what was causing it. Then I found the rear panel just above the rear glass window ( with rear tail light) loose. What ever is holding it down got unhitched. Anyone know the solution to this problem?

Re: 2003 Envoy Rear Roof Panel Loose

The solution to this problem is to buy a new panel where the third brake light is attached. the part of the panel which connects it to the frame broke. Buy a double side tape that will glue the bottom of the panel to the glass. The panel can be temporarily secured by bolting the panel to the frame. if panel has lost grip to the glass because the double sided tape is old, tape the panel to the glass with a strong tape.
