Wow, one piece is in Texas, are the people asking you what is that for a car? I now there are lot of volvos in U.S.A but this type is something unusual. It wos not in sale in US.

What do you have exactly? 343, 345, 360. And the combustion? Is it a 1.4, 1.6D, 1.7, 2.0, or a custom motor from U.S
How much hp?

Iam thinking about to build somethink like this.

343 Turbo RC -Rally Cross
960 Kg - 1.7i motor - 276hp - 0 to 100 Kmh in 3,2 sec.

What it will make with a stronger turbo motor.

Re: Volvo 343 345 360 Ever seen?

I grew up in the UK, an 86 340GL 1.4 was my first car. We'd had it from new. I crashed it in 98 at about 50. Didn't fancy redoing the wing and radiator and all that so sold it for £120 for parts. 2 years later, I bought an 89 340DX and kept it until I moved to the us It survived a ramming by a Golf on a motorway with barely a scratch, and some rallying and autotest events.

Nothing quite like just flicking the tail out with 4 passengers in the car when I felt like it.

Technically, I still own it, but I don't know what condition it's in. When I can afford to, I'm going to see about importing one or two though.

My two had the 1.4 B-series engines in, and in the 7 years I had them, they were fairly trouble free. I think a wheel bearing, some heater issues (and they were notorious for the heater system being different every year, and sometimes twice a year. PLUS dizzy caps were prone to cracking. At least twice I had the car die on me as I was doing 70+ because of rain+snow getting driven into the cap.
