Problems starting
I have a 2000 Solara and after the car has been driven and warm, when the ignition is turned off and try to restart it cranks but has a very low idle and dies. I must wait a few minutes and then it starts fine.
Any ideas...I have the SLE V6. Thanks. |

Re: Problems starting
That does not sem to be the problem for me.
I can turn the car off and leave the key in the ignition, wait a min or so then turn it over and it will not stay running. If I leave the car off for a few mins then turn it over it starts. Weird....!! |

Re: Problems starting
I am having the same problem with my 2002 Solara V6. From my troubleshooting and research, clean the Idle speed control (ISC) valve. Carbon buildup can cause the noticed problems.
