I hate you, Ray!

I'd like to come back to this point though. I actually would agree with you on MS's performance today, but this thread isn't about MS, while it does have a lot to do with DC. I also wasn't impressed by Button today, but saw no reason to bring it up.

I got the "unacceptable" reference Alex

Did Rubens get the good Bridgestones today?

My little quip was reminding you that whilst Coulthard was bested by his team mate to the tune of 8 tenths today, Schumacher was also 4 tenths slower than his. Tyres are irrelevant in that analysis, there are hidden reasons for everything. But if Schumacher keeps that type of performance up...

Somehow I don't think the little elf will be publicly chastising his chosen one in quite the same fashion Ron Dennis does with DC!

Funny you should mention this. Yes he did! F1-live report that RB used softer tyres compared to MS.

Yes, I agree with you, I am relatively disapointed with MS's qualifying today, but the thread is (was? ) not about MS, so why mention it.

Maybe we should make a thread about the current German GP and discuss it there? Wait... Bwaaahahahahahaahaa!

Okay Alex I will spell it out very clearly, I have obviously been too broad up to this point.

You said Coulthard wasn't doing himself any favours. I pointed out that Schumacher was behind Barichello in qualifying too. Does that mean Schumacher should be out of a seat next year? I was trying to illustrate the point that a lot more is going on than we know about. Maybe Ron Dennis is happy with Coulthard's performace because he knows of some difficulty David is operating under. Therfore he will be back at McLaren next year. Maybe this one (several in DC's case) poor performance means both he and Schumacher are over the hill?

Plus as a McLaren fan I can bash DC, but when Ferrari fans do it I will defend him, or bash their guy! Fair enough?

Phil, I wasn't bashing DC, in fact I think I've been quite mild on him (read the first post I made in this thread today again). Still it's beyond me why anyone will be defending DC's performance today, or at several races before today. Today is better though as e was actually using a spare car.

Why? (I'll remove the saintly expression off my face in a minute)

Mental note - no word games with Ray.

Damn, am I too lax in this forum? Incuding on myself? I mean what the hell does this post of mine have to do with the topic of Latest Rumours or with F1 in general? (note how your witty moderator used the title of the thread and the forum in a seemingly off-topic thread to make it somewhat on topic!) Sorry guys, I'm just in a good mood

Since we're getting formal Mr Clark

Who was in a twist earlier about staying on topic? I have no such qualms, but thought you would know better

Wait until Mr Haesevoets discovers the mess you've made in his thread

Believe me, I have yet to be in any sort of a twist.....you will know when I am though.

On the other hand, there is a big difference between busting on somebody about a silly typo and 2 people having 17 successive posts totally non-related to the topic.

Okay may as well keep this rubbish up for a little longer. Who knows we might make it to 17 consecutive posts born out of a single typo!

I find the fact you counted the 17 offending post a bit of a worry to begin with.

I dont know which is more OT; discussing F1 team orders in an F1 race thread or discussing typing in a driver silly season thread...
I'm a participant in both so Alex will probably be sending the boys round

Maybe we need a pole?
