Smile This Bud's for you, F1!

Budweiser beer has signed on as a major sponsor of the Williams F1 team. This is the first time they have sponsored anything F1, they were an associate sponsor of Montoya in 2000 when he won the Indy 500.

Do we see Williams turning red?

Sounds cool to me, good to get a major American corporate sponsor, maybe they will help the sport grow in popularity in the USA.

We've had enough of red Williamses in 98 - caused me too many hearattacks! (well, almost) I remember making my sister's ex hubby (great guy!) laugh when during one of the races Schumi was leading rather comfortably, and one of the Williamses beached it in the gravel, and at first sight I wa like - dammit! which turned into "why do they have to be so red!!!!" -all sincere and spontaneous.

The point of this story is that it has been said previously that Williams will be keeping the white/blue livery, mainly because BMW won't have it any other way (and IIRC they have exclusive rights to Williams' liveries)

At least we know to walk around one in circles to get another brand of real beer !

But i do agree, that that might help to boast the popularity of F1 in yankeeland.

Not so bad....

Kind of appropriate where they put them, Bud sucks and they put the logo behind the intake on the air box.....hoping it will pull more air in?

or beer?

Then the BMW engine can get drunk and have a huge hang-over on race-day. Next thing they bring in a pharmaceutical sponsor to resolve that.
