delsol vs. mustang and hatch

well i just bought me Del Sol last weekend in west palm flordia. i live in indiana , so its a bit of a drive. I'm going to get in a race eventually. well it was late night headed to hotel in miami and this civic hatch pulls up and is mean muggin. I let him go ahead of me and then drop to 3rd.(we on interstate doin like 70 or so) and I blow by him he. and since my speedo dont work i dunno speeds but about 5-6g in 5th gear is when i stopped. Im runnin a b16a swap with a rebuild, good pistons and rods.
Well on my way back to Indiana from Miami i see a new mustang and i look at my friend and he says "smoke em". also still on interstates, i catch this mustang and drop to 3rd and take off. I blow him away so bad i started to think he didnt try, till a few minutes later when he catches up he goes flying by me. So i again hit 3rd so i hit Vtec and take off hard. matched and passed him within a 1/4 mile easy.

also mustang wasnt a GT i think. normal 06-07 mustangs must be slow as hell.
and i have no proof of this as i didnt plan on getting into races so no camera.

Mods on car
B16a
Pistons & Rods
jdm 97 Front bumper and fenders
short ram intake
3" exhaust from header back no cat.
short throw shifter.

ohh yea. about south carloina i dropped tranny. =\sucks.
