FX35 20" Wheels And Snow

I'm in the process of buying a 2003 FX35 with the sport package. Can anyone tell me how the 20" wheels do in heavy snow? We get 2-300 inches every winter up here in the UP of Michigan. I've heard some negative things about how they do in the snow.

Thanks

Re: FX35 20" Wheels And Snow

To be completly honest with you, I just got back from a trip through Vermont with a FX35. The thing handled amazing through the wet corners. Winding mountain side.
I have had twentys on my old tahoe, and I live in New Hampshire on a very steep hill. It is just like any vehicle buy the right tires for the vehicle and there you go. Best bet, take the model and specs off the tire go to www.tirerack.com and get a snow/ice rating.
