15" wheels on 1975 Spitfire 1500?

I'm thinking about fitting a set of 15" wheels on my Spit 1500.

I found a site, Diamond Racing Wheels that will custom drill a set of silver, black or chrome "rock crawler" looking wheels to the appropriate bolt pattern (4x3.75", 4x3-3/4", 4x95.2mm). You can choose 13, 14, 15, or 16" wheels if they will fit, with a variety of widths and offsets as well.

So, I am wondering what the best combination would be for a 15" diameter wheel.

I'm thinking 5" width with a 2" offset. Would this clear under the fenders (with moderately low-profile tires, of course) and not rub when I turn the wheel? Is it possible that I could even increase these numbers, say to a 6" width and a smaller offset?

What do you all think?

Here's the link for those interested. You can see their other offerings by clicking "Table of Contents" at the bottom

Even though 4x3-3/4" is a "non-standard" bolt pattern on the site and will cost an extra $10 per wheel, my 15" design still comes out to only $53 per wheel for a black set.

Killer!
