Thumbs down

nah . . .

I haven't heard anything like that . . . but seeing the tests that they feature, they seem pretty much unbiased, at least to me . . .

I like their articles . . . I think it's a good mag overall. They need some editing help though . . . they're always screwing up photos . . .

I'll never let my subscription lapse . .

hey yo, the cars they review are largely some what the same because so few companies make cars that are truly worthy of being a feature article in the mag. Granted you are going to see largely a huge amount of Skylines, EVO's, and Civics. But then again they are popular cars to read about and are very aftermarket friendly. Would you really even waste your time reading an entire article about lets say....oh a Chevy Cavalier or a Ford Fiesta? No and thank god they dont do articles on vehicles like that. Its a good mag, and i really like it.
Peace........

How many times have they featured a Skyline? I remember them stating once back in '97 or so that they wouldn't feature cars like Skylines and Supras; they are simply not sport compacts. That's what Turbo Magazine is for (sister publication).

Unless I'm mistaken, about two issues ago they had a few skylines in the pages . . . they even borrowed one from somebody for a day . . .

Unless I'm mistaken, but I'm probably not.

Someone earlier metioned that SCC needs editing help. This is so true, I see a lot of typos in the mag. Sometimes it looks like it was written as a sixth grade class project. I still pick one up now and then to check out the latest products, researching for my business.

When I said, "How many times have they featured a Skyline?" I was being sarcastic.

SCC has a lot of articles on honda, nissan, and toyota because those are the companies that mainly support SCC.

They really don't cover civics too often, yes they covered the Typer-R,but not a rice car. They are also one of the frew mags that I can recall that took the Dodge SRT-4 and ran the shit out of it.SCC is the most diverse mag out their.THey have lots of tech help, some of the best testing, and keep you up to date with parts and events.By far the best mag out their.
