headlights 318iSE e36 1996
Both headlights have failed! - only get the 2 inner lights, they also are the only high beam that works, the 2 outer lights are completely dead.
Have checked fuses as listed on the fuse box. One of the bulbs doesn't look too healthy, slight purple tinge under bulb, also near base looks as if the circuit may be broken, it looks different to the other one! As you may have guessed I'm slightly confused! If one of the bulbs is broken, will this cause the other not to work, are they wired together?? Your advice would be much appreciated, thankyou! |

If the bulb is broken it won't affect the other one. Have you checked your headlight relay? If that is fine you may want to look at replacing the headlight switch.
