Re: Honda RC211V LCR 2006

OMG Sandro - sometimes I have a hard time determining a real motoGP bike from your model - excellent details - how do you make the chains so successfully - I have tried several but they always fall apart when I try to "hammer" peen the link pins ??? any help in your assembly of the chains would be helpful - John

Re: Honda RC211V LCR 2006

Thanks John and M.Boy,

John, this is my fifth drive chain, but now I can say I was perfect, I'll try to put a step by step how I do in the next assembly.

What remains now is just by installing the side fairings and brake pedal .

Sandro.

WOW Sandro - each Bike model you build gets better and better. They are very clean and excellently detailed - that would be good if you could make a tutorial for the chains - John

Re: Honda RC211V LCR 2006

Thanks John, I'll try to do a tutorial in the next, but the site's Top Studio has a very good tutorial, which was where I followed the instructions.

More a finished model, Honda RC 211 V, piloted by Casey Stoner in 2006.

Re: Honda RC211V LCR 2006

absolutely beautiful Sandro - I have always liked this livery and you have built an excellent example - very nicely done - reference the chains - I've seen Top Studio's tutorial and their directions but my chains always fall apart when I hammer them - need to find a way to keep them together - I will like very much to see your technique for the chains shared here - John

Re: Honda RC211V LCR 2006

Hi Sandro, been a while.
This bike is awesome. Very detailed yet very clean!
This is one of my favourite I must say
Anyways, how did you deal with golden decal while clear coating?
I heard golden decals are easily cracked.

Regards,
Brian

Re: Honda RC211V LCR 2006

Hi , sorry for the delay , decals gold I ended up using two set because when I applied varnish decals Gold lost luster. So after finishing the varnish applied only gold decals without varnish.
