Re: Yamaha M1 2008, Jerez
I like the results on this one Charon - did you use a Tamiya 2009 M1 as the base kit and then modified the bodywork side panels?
Or is this one of the Top Studio 2008 super detail kits for the M1 that cost about $200 dollars USA money. Sadly some of the pictures are not real clear and are out of focus, but for the most part the bike looks really good. Please do a real WIP and tell us just what you did and how and show pictures of the modifications you made. Cheers John |

Re: Yamaha M1 2008, Jerez
Trans kit is really a top studio! but it's not the original kit, but the cast! Castings are home made, something I've got friends over, and the last pieces are cast mine, are not perfect, but I can stand it.
Top studio is best. Then it is very good KS Workshop. Max is not so good M1 2008 is my favorite of all the MotoGP bike. I wanted them to build more, but this is probably my last submission. So far I've stood sixth. here is construction: http://modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f=156&t=96377 You can see my 2013 prototype :-) I want to make the most accurate M1 2007 and 2008, so I did castings. The 2007 model of the cast late, I already built (Lorenzo test Valencia 2007). I have finished all the 2007 version (early Fiat + Asse, Late Fiat + Abarth), but I will do it again and better! Combine the trans ki ST27, Top Studio and Reji - all is modifield on all version http://modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f=156&t=93741 Because of these trans kits incurred and these PE parts: http://www.car-model-kit.com/113-mot...-parts-charon/

Re: Yamaha M1 2008, Jerez
Charon - thank you for sending the links to the other site with the pictures.
I will look them over when I get a chance and maybe I will have a few more questions of your build process then if that is okay. Many times other model websites from countries do not translate the words into English so it makes us stupid Americans unable to understand - lol Cheers John |
