North American Bavarian Racing offers three different series all specifically for cars manufactured by BMW. The various series reflect the diversity of these cars and the requirements of the drivers.
The North American Bimmer SeriesTM is the classic 'gentlemanly racing' format. Multiple levels of preparation are defined. Most BMW's and MINI's are classified for participation in the series. This series emphasizes safety, fun, comraderie; competition is not a goal of the series, your competition is the car in front and the one behind.
The SpecE30 SeriesTM follows the popular specified modification format and preparation specifications developed by SpecE30 providing equal, low cost, cars and highlighting driver skill. A single level of preparation is defined using specified products. Only specific (E-30) models may participate. This series emphasizes competition, safety, and fun with a season championship.
The North American SpecMINI SeriesTM is under consideration and follows the popular specified modification format providing equal cars and highlighting driver skill. A single level of preparation is defined using specified products that requires the cars be street legal, capable of being driven to and from the event. Only BMW manufactured MINI Coopers and Cooper S models may participate but in separate classes. This series emphasizes safety, fun, comraderie and competition with a season championship.
