00 v6 Purge valve test

hi I have a small EVAP leak.

the purge valve was stuck. so I bought a new one. installed it and it failed

I took it off and tested it by watching a video and they say sucking on the bottom it cant allow air going in or sucking cant move

this new one stuck too I taped it... and I guess ti came down.. you can blow through the bottom but if you suck on it slow nothing suck a little harder it seals..

but is this valve not supposed to allow air pushing in or sucking ...

or is this normal for this valve for this year?

Re: 00 v6 Purge valve test

Maybe go with and AC Delco part it might be a little more $$ but that would be a better control test. I wish I had insight of this sorry I don't.
