So if there is a bubble will disconnecting the hose fix that? Also you mean the hoses to the heater core right? Or a different one

Yes, hoses to heater core. If it's dry, leaving the hose off you add coolant to the radiator until it runs out of where the heater hose connects. This allows any bubble to escape and fills the engine full of coolant. Then replace the hose, start it up and check the radiator for any more coolant that might need to be added. Once the bubble is gone or mostly gone the coolant circulates thru the engine and any other trapped air will be flushed out and end up in the radiator. Anyway, this is what I do. Works good.
