Re: whats the rarest car you've seen on the street?
Green Lambo tearing it up multiple times
Ferraris (360s and the occasional 550) Vipers-rt/10 and GTS and a new RT10 a university professor Hummers (h1) including a border patrol wagon The guy up the street used to own a lambo (dunno what kind), but his software company tanked and he had to sell most of his cars, or so his kid says. i see alot considering we have no ferrari, lambo, hummer or high end dodge dealer in town. They are all 100 mi away in phoenix, AZ. |

Re: whats the rarest car you've seen on the street?
Man it must suck for those who dont live in a bid city. I've seen plenty of examples of just about every car listed except for the Enzo and the S7. The rarest car listed so far is probably the S7 and CarreraGT with delivered road cars in the low double digits. Though I haven't seen an S7 on the road, I did get to sit in one at the Houston Auto Show.

Re: whats the rarest car you've seen on the street?
rolls royce silver ghost. there was only ever ONE.
Bugatti from round 1910. there are THREE in the world. Gold Lamborghini Diablo SE, 40 built. on the outside of rare Ferrari F40, 1200 built. Subaru 22B, actually, i wouldn't count anything where there were more than 500 as rare. Maserati Barchetta. Lamborghini diablo VT, and a VT roadster.

Re: whats the rarest car you've seen on the street?
Actually, there were only 20 gold Diablo SE's made. 20 gold ones and 20 brown ones. I have seen a gold one a few times.

Re: whats the rarest car you've seen on the street?
yeah i know, i meant there were only 40 SE's, wasn't really worried about the colour, theres plenty of gold paint in the world. A friend wrote off the last of one type of right hand drive ferrari dino. NZ roads suck, he drove it off a bridge. forgotten what year/shape it was. something about pinniferina cars and bridges, another guy i know drove his detomaso pantera off a bridge too.

In recent weeks I've seen a 1961 Goggomobile Dart (sports car) two fwd DKWs (1937 roadster & '54 van) an Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire (1950s) and a 1990-ish Giacottolo (V8 mid-engined supercar)

As for rare sightings, I think I am like Racingnut who sees a lot. I live on the outskirts of London and there are plenty of F360's, Marinelo's, a few Diablos, guilardos, murcilagos. Saw Chris Akabusi's 959 convertable....now that really is a rare car. The 959 in itself is rare but I think they only ever made something like 3 conertables as a special. I guess seeing all the current Formula 1 cars racing round the streets of London must be pretty rare too. I dunno, I can't really think of one car in particular that I thonk "oh wow, that is rare". I see these exotics and just think of them as 'less produced than the mass produced cars'
