'doing up' basics
i was just wondering what evryone one thinks are the main things you need to do to 'do up' a car? i have a 1989 mitsubishi magna any suggestions on doing i tup would be greatly appreciated.

well not to sound like i want to pick a fight with you bro, but believe me any money you spend on your magna is going to be money wasted. If you're insistent on the magna, then a new engine would be the best thing you could do for your car. Anyhoo, the basic things you do before doing major mods when doing up cars are :
1. performance exhaust and extractors 2. cold air intake 3. performance gears in the back 4. remove any unnecessary weight 5. better tires for better grip 6. suspension mods like better springs and sway bars These are the cheapest basics that will improve performance quite a bit for not too much cash(with the exception of tires). Like i said though, the magna is a waste to pour all that cash into. If you wanted better performance for really really cheap then your best bet is lose as much weight as you can on the car and get a decent air intake and maybe an exhaust.
