Brushes- A number of sifferent brushes available, personally I use Mack 00 for 99% of my work. And I have some lettering brushes for cartooning and lettering that I got at Michaels. Books- I have only found one that was actually useful. Its called "Pinstriping Masters". Hope that helps!

Re: Official PINSTRIPING Thread!
Havent posted up anything for a while, so I thought I would do an update for you all.
Start with the oldest- A light switch cover in my basement I did real quick with some extra paint after another job. Tried a diferrent coloring approach with the red tips. Still dunno if I like it. Next, these were my mom's presents for Mother's Day, per her request. Ok, enough of the dinky stuff, I know you all want to see some big stuff... Here is the latest state of the constant work in progress that is my Dad's truck. The dash anyway. I officially hate striping dashboards. Unless the panels are removable, and removed. Anyway, my favorite bit of this one is the little cartoons I did on a whim on the right side above the glove box. And finally, my latest piece finished today. Pieces off of one of my co-worker's 56 Chevy P/U. Yes, that is silver, and yes, it was a bitch. I think they turned out pretty good though, and the pay wasnt bad either... First piece- Second piece- Thanks for looking! And comments are always welcome. Also, as soon as I get finished pics of some VW buses I did a couple days ago, Ill post them up too.

Re: Official PINSTRIPING Thread!
Last 2 nights Ive been crazy busy! Just cranking stuff out! Please pardon the blurry shots, Im too lazy to go reshoot em.
Here's The finished version of that vlue one pictured a couple posts above. My new panel with a new b/g technique. Laid down a coat of clear, then laid some seran wrap over it. Wrinkled it up and peeled it off. Shots some black primer over the red and laid some seran wrap over that. Peeled it up, which pulled some of the red off. Reshot the whole thing with black, and this turned out. One of my latest commissioned pieces- The head of security at a school I went to last year wanted me to do these for his wife. She likes roosters. Yes, there is a joke there, but this is a family forum. And the other one... Another commission, the same guy I did those blue truck panels for. Delivery is tommorrow, so I hope he's happy! And the top... Starting a new panel. Will do the back tommorrow, thinking black/red swirly stuff, like the blue one. And another new panel, think JD Green and white with some kind of kool effect. And finally, a sketch for a pinstriped face. Loosely based on me. Thanks for lookin! Comments welcome like always!

Fantastic work KustmAce, you´ve inspired me to start striping too!
Here is the paint and the brush I´m using: Well here´s my contributions (first time ever handeling a sword brush): Again, inspired by KustmAce, I just had to try that spiderweb: They were all done using Tamiya acrylics, horrible paints, not good at all for pinstriping but it´s the only thing I´ve got for now. I´m trying to get my hands on some of that 1-Shot paint but it´s rather hard to find here in Sweden.
