Smile 93 GMC Sierra C1500 SLE

So, I'm not really looking for OFFROAD clearance, I'm just looking for a inch or two so it's a bit easier to get around without my running boards hitting/dragging (like they have twice)

I currently have 30x9.50 R15LT M/S Z46 Aurora's with stock wheels, and I assume 'roughly' stock suspension.

It does have a towing package so I believe it has more/heavier leaf springs. (heavy half?)

I know NOTHING about lifting trucks, am I able to just make some simple changes like new suspension that keeps it higher? Or perhaps new wheels/tires as well? Any advice would be appreciated.
