Question Trick The Computer

HELLO.
I'M NEW HERE.
FOR EVERYONE A QUESTION.
HOW CAN YOU TRICK A COMPUTER TO RECOGNISE A NEW AIRBAG AND ERASE THE OLD INCIDENT FOR A FIAT STILO.

If I remember correctly I think you can clear the codes with the proper scan tool. Playing with airbags is risky business so be careful.

Most cars are permanently programmed. Erasing it constitutes fraud and is punishable the same way as rolling back and odometer... at least here in the states.

There is probably a way to do it, but don't expect it to be easy or legal

When I was in school they did go over how to reset the system (in Pennsylvania). If done by an approved shop I think it is ok. I have never done it though. I would recomend not messing with the system at all though. Too many horror stories of bags going off at the wrong time.
