I don't even know of any around here, although with my stereo I wouln't even be able to think of competing....I could I would, at least go, not necessarly compete......hmm.....

No I would get murdered w/ my setup. I'm tuned down low and would be in street b dbdrag and S1 Meca. both have people doing WELL over 150.

actually I was referring mostly to SQ (sound quality) comps. I would be lucky to hit 130 dB with my 2 8's but they match the output of my mid/tweets a lot better.

Ohh lol..... nope.... but I am gunna be building a competition box for my subs and seeing if I can get high enough numbers to compete in SPL.

yeah actually im the current state champ in SQ.. ive been 2nd in the nation for about 2 years now.. a little tweaking and i should have it
you guys dont know SQ until you hear sony 6x8s (one of which is blown) off a sony HU and overwhelming bass from that sloppy CVR 15

SQ? Did i hear sound quality
i usually chill around the IASCA event at image dynamics (they are hosting one every month this year). Never competed though because i keep on delaying my install. I shall compete later this month i hope. lol.

I was just curious, they seem to have fallen out of favor ..... maybe cuz most people think of contests as "crank 'em ups"

yes it's dying.
the event in january had a decent turn out. in febrary, the show was cancelled due to the weather. Just last month (one event per month), the show was cancelled on the spot because less than 10 people showed up.
