$20 13" tires at Sears!
Just saw this in another group and thought you guys with MK4 and MK5 cars would be interested.

I bought a set of these a couple of weeks ago at twice the price. They seem OK (haven't driven on ice with them yet) and Cooper Tire makes them for Sears.

I understand the mounting and balancing is insanely priced, but you can buy them there for $20 + tax and take them to your regular guy for mounting.
