AC Not Working Need Help
Ok I am trying to get the AC going on my 1991 Geo Metro. Previous owner stated used to work, should work ...... just needs charged. Here is what I tried.
I can not get the compressor to engage. Inside AC button pushed in, lights up when fan switch is turned to the first position. Pulled a vacuum on the system. Put in a can of R12. (Pressures still equalized because clutch on compressor never engaged.) Jumpered what I believed to be the low pressure switch. Checked fuse in fuse box under hood. Reset AC relays under hood. Still nothing. Where is the low pressure switch located on 91 Geo Metro? Anything else I have to do to get the clutch on the compressor to engage? What else should I check. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks! |
