Everyone you are arguing with here either A) Has a system that would eat yours alive or B) Knows an outstanding amount more than you do about car audio. and in many cases both A an B. So save the humiliation

douchesaleen guy...

LMAO

"i like saleens, they are fast. wouldnt it be super koolio if i put two Audiobahns in them in a box tuned to 40Hz with sony amps? i mean after all i can afford that with my big audio budget. oh wait, i dont own a saleen, i own an RX-7 which i pay too much insurance for because i try and drive it like a saleen. oh well. with all this cash i am making i cna handle the tickets and the 4k a year in insurance..."

OK...im really done now.

Not that im bashing RX-7's. i love FC's and 2nd gen 7's. but insurance is INSANE on them for anyone under 35...quick little boogers that they they are. amazing HP acheivements also from thoes tiny 12a's and 13b's....

I installed my i/h/e, coilovers, motor mounts, and short shifter in a parking garage with nothing more than a jack, jack stands and a small set of wrenches, and I also installed a new clutch in my car when I was 16, but I don't consider any of that real "work" because it's all easy. I don't have a car yet that I feel would be worthy of serious work, so no I haven't ever "worked" on an engine in the sense that you're asking. However I don't exactly see what any of this has to do with car AUDIO in the first place.

Re: So the XXX came in a lot earlier than expected...

Yes i dont see it either. To answer my question a quick glance at my sig would make things easier, but ill re-state. Installed PR5 pistons, and ARP stud's all around. SR20, clutch work is'nt considered all that easy, good shit.
