Street Viper Coupe Lives Again!
Recently making its debut as a concept, the Dodge Viper SRT Coupe (name pending) proves Dodge is ready to take down recent attacks to its crown as the number one American exotic as per the Ford GT and the Corvette C6.
Enjoy, and discuss. And thanks to the raiders at Viper Alley who got these pics at a DaimlerChrysler gathering discussing the new model with current Viper owners (near as I can figure as they're pretty hush-hush about it).

Beautiful car... It just needs a better designed 5-spoke...
Although like we discussed, it's probably a purpose built lightweight unit... still it could use a little more thought put into the asthetics department. Overall I like the package.

i'm glad to see that the new coupe hasn't lost any of its rakish lines or bold ersonality. The convertible left me slightly disappointed, honestly. It seemed like it had lost some of that original VIPER look to it. I agree, the 5-spokes are understated on a generally overstated car. Everything on a viper should be BOLD, but hey, if one can afford a new viper, he can also afford some new rims.

I assume this will be an RT/10 with less weight due to the hard top?
