Reverse wiring harness

I want to use a couple of older car stereos (factory stereos for a 98 Cherokee and a 00 Camry) for speaker amps (for my computer). I already have a power source, I just need reverse wiring harnesses for each stereo (female connections instead of male).

Where can I get these?

Re: Reverse wiring harness

usually a junkyard has an ample supply, the radios will already be removed so you will just have to snip them off (with a foot or so of wire).

Re: Reverse wiring harness

Good idea, but I'm not really close to a junkyard that would have a wide variety of cars.

Re: Reverse wiring harness

unfortunately, that may be the only way to get one cheaply. Usually, they don't just sell the plug, you would have to buy that whole wiring harness that it's a part of of. I would think most of the wiring plugs are proprietary, so finding them from some kind of wholesale dealer might be tricky at best.
